About me

Hi! I’m Laura, the founder of LC Orofacial Myology. I Received my Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene from University of Maryland School of Dentistry and post graduate training specializing in Orofacial Myofunctional Disorders from the International Association of Orofacial Myology.

Working in dental hygiene I see first hand the detrimental effects that orofacial myofunctional disorders have on patients when they are not treated. I personally have dealt with years of dental problems because of OMDs.

My goal is to provide each patient with an individualized treatment that also looks at airway and sleep problems. I will be an overall health advocate for my patients so we can get to the root cause of the problems and stop just managing symptoms.

When I’m not helping people improve their quality of life, I enjoy spending time with my family and traveling.
