About me

Hi, I’m Laura, the founder of LC Orofacial Myology. I specialize in orofacial myofunctional therapy with a passion for helping children and adults breathe better, sleep better, and function at their best by addressing the root causes of oral and airway dysfunction.

Through advanced training with the International Association of Orofacial Myology and continued education in airway-centered care, I work with patients who struggle with mouth breathing, sleep-disordered breathing, tongue ties, improper oral rest posture, TMJ symptoms, clenching, and developmental concerns affecting facial growth and function.

My approach is holistic, gentle, and highly individualized. I believe the muscles of the face, tongue, and airway play a critical role in overall health, posture, sleep quality, and even emotional well-being. Rather than simply treating symptoms, my goal is to understand why the body is compensating and help guide it back to balance.

I collaborate closely with orthodontists, dentists, ENTs, pediatricians, body-work providers, and other airway-focused professionals to ensure each patient receives comprehensive, team-based care.

At LC Orofacial Myology, you are not just completing exercises, you are learning lifelong habits that support proper breathing, optimal facial development, and whole-body health. My mission is to create a supportive, empowering space where patients and families feel heard, educated, and confident in their healing journey.
